Spring is finally upon us, for this I could not be more grateful or ready. The winter has offered me personal challenges that I am in no hurry to repeat and I'm feeling like there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I leave a week from today for a drive to Baltimore where I will give a talk and teach 4 classes to the lovely people of the Baltimore Bead Society. Tuesday evening will include a slide and trunk show to be followed later in the week by the classes.

Today I will carve out time in the studio, loving the emancipation of not needing to feed a fire to control my comfort out there.

Ahh...daffodils and the promises they bring.
